The Challenge: You’ve just started to work at a bookstore (or library) - what are your top ten go-to book recommendations?

1 - For the paranormal lover, I'll give you a badass female protagonist, I'll give you action and romance, I'll give you a series full of awesomeness - I give you Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead.

2 - For the classics lover, I'll give you a story that's so haunting, you're gonna end up having lucid dreams about it - I give you Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë.

3 - For the person who doesn't read a lot and needs something capable of captivating their interest, I'll give you a quick read, full of romance and paranormal - I give you Twilight by Stephenie Meyer.

4 - For the reader who likes to think about life in all its different styles and to question what it means to be a human being (what we should and shouldn't do, how life should be lived) - I give you The Papalagi by Eric Sheurmann.

5 - For the reader who wants to reconnect with his own soul - I give you Veronika Decides to Die by Paulo Coelho.

6 - For the psychological thriller lover, I'll give you something that will make you question your own insanity, I'll give you sarcasm and love, I'll give you characters so fucked up you're gonna end up loving them, even if you hate them - I give you the Mara Dyer series by Michelle Hodkin.

7 - For the magical realism lover, I'll give you something funny, well written and definitely a fast reading - I give you Chronicle of a Death Foretold by Gabriel García Márquez.

8 - For the manga lover who likes to have his heart broken and doesn't mind to wait for a ending that may never come...I'll give you something sweet, sad, base on girl power and friendship - I give you Nana by Ai Yazawa.

9 - For the younger ones, I'll give you a message, a sweet story, something to break your heart for the first time and something that will make you believe in magic - I give you Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling.

10 - For the teen reader who's full of doubts and doesn't know who to ask, I'll give you a reading that was so, so important to my teen self - I give you A Lua de Joana by Maria Teresa Maia Gonzalez (I hope you can read portuguese, because I honestly don't know if there's a translation. My bad).

Wow, this was fun!

Yesterday I didn't read anything aside from those 88 pages of Scandal ):
